Web skills
Online courses are mostly delivered through the World Wide Web
(often called the "Web" for short). This means that the
content of the course (like this interactive guide) exists as Web
pages which sit on a Web server (like a big central computer). You
view these Web pages through a Web browser (like Internet Explorer).
Studying online also means that your learning facilitator may expect
you to find information on the Web, just like you would in a library.

such as using a Web browser and searching for information on the
